Welcome to Founders Day of Giving, Alpha Sigma Tau's annual 27-hour event to grow a stronger future for our Sisterhood through support of the Foundation.

 

The 2018 event celebrates the 119th anniversary of Alpha Sigma Tau Sorority's founding and runs from 11:00 a.m. ET on Thursday, November 1 - 11:00 a.m. PT on Friday, November 2. 

 

All donations are tax-deductible to the fullest extent allowed by law.

THANK YOU! We are absolutely blown away by the display of generosity and pride from Sisters and friends across the country and beyond.

 

Thanks to you, our 2018 Founders Day of Giving was a record-breaking celebration for Alpha Sigma Tau, and the impact of your generosity will shine through our leadership and educational programs, academic scholarships, and continued growth in the year to come.

 

And, in our most competitive event to date, the results of the 2018 Founders Day of Giving Chapter Challenge are:

 

1. Psi Chapter at James Madison University, recipient of a $3,000 one-time academic scholarship

2. Delta Nu Chapter at Beloit College, recipient of a $2,000 one-time academic scholarship

3. Alpha Lambda Chapter at Radford University, recipient of a $1,000 one-time academic scholarship

4. Gamma Tau Chapter at Lebanon Valley College, recipient of a $1,000 one-time academic scholarship

5. Gamma Gamma Chapter at University of West Alabama, recipient of a $1,000 one-time academic scholarship

 

We are still calculating the results of the 1899 Society Collegiate Giving Challenge and will announce the recipients of those exciting prizes next week.

BREAKING NEWS! Two Additional Chapter Challenge Scholarships Added!

BREAKING NEWS! We are so in awe of your extraordinary generosity and fierce competition in the Chapter Challenge, that the Foundation Board of Directors has approved two additional scholarship awards for the 4th and 5th place chapters!

 

This totals $8,000 in academic scholarships up for grabs in this year's Founders Day of Giving Chapter Challenge, and no chapter can be counted out yet! Have you supported your preferred chapter yet?

 

Don't wait. The event ends at 11:00 a.m. PT/2:00 p.m. ET today, Friday, November 2nd!

2018 Chapter Challenge
The active collegiate chapter with the highest total dollar amount given through their link on the Chapter Challenge page November 1-2 will receive a one-time $3,000 academic scholarship to benefit a collegiate chapter Sister in the 2019-2020 scholarship cycle. Additionally, a one-time $2,000 academic scholarship will be awarded to the first runner-up, with the second runner-up benefiting from a one-time $1,000 academic scholarship. All donations made through a chapter’s “Chapter Challenge” link will count towards the total, including, but not limited to, gifts made by collegiate and alumnae members, professors or university staff, family, and friends.
